GTA IV: Episodes From Liberty City Coming to PS3 and PC
So I got an email from Rockstar earlier informing me that Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City would be coming to the PS3 and PC.
E-Mail:
Hey David,
Thank you for your email. We understand your frustrations as a Grand Theft Auto fan who has been unable to play the latest games on your system of choice – and we are sorry that we were unable to give you a response sooner. For all these reasons, we wanted you to be among the first to know about today’s announcement that Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City will finally be available on disc for PlayStation 3 and PC on March 30th. Additionally, the individual episodes “The Lost and Damned” and “The Ballad of Gay Tony” will also be available as downloadable content to add on to your GTAIV game disc via PlayStation Network and Games for Windows LIVE.
Stay tuned for more info, plus screens and videos from the PS3 and PC versions in the coming weeks – make sure you’re on the Rockstar Mailing List, or following us on Facebook or Twitter, for all the latest.
Cheers,
Rockstar Games
Said letter was a response to an email I had sent Rockstar a few months prior; expressing my disappointment in them only (at the time) supporting the Xbox 360. Which wasn’t very surprising since Microsoft was lining their pockets with wads of cash.
In any case, we’ve got new GTA content coming to the PS3 and PC, finally.

Dungeons and Dragons Online – F2P and Micro-Transactions Added
If you’re up for some cheap thrills, then you’re in for a bit of good news. Turbines Dungeons & Dragons Online has gone free-to-play. While generally a boring run-of-the-mill game, it’s not the worst pile of trash I’ve had the misfortune of playing lately. There just isn’t anything so fantastically unique that it gives it any kind of an edge in the market either.
One particularly irksome feature of DDO, or lack there-of, is the resting system; in a word, it’s shit. You end up having to click on a pillar during instances and such to rest up your HP/MP. Snooze, lets cut the fucking time-sink trash out of our games and move along to having a bit of actual fun then, shall we? Seriously, you fucking cockbags.
However on the upside of things, D&DO allows for a measurable amount of flexibility in adventuring. At least in-so-far as difficultly of questing and such goes. You’re able to enter instances and adjust difficultly levels to some degree, which allows for ease of soloing or doing things as small groups if desired. On the converse if you wish to crank up the difficultly level a notch or two, then you will be aptly rewarded with more loot than usual. Kind of a neat concept…. kind of.
Side Note: I visited turbines website out of curiosity after hearing of the move to a free-to-play model. Turbine seems to enjoy thinking of themselves as, quote: The Worlds Premier Creator and Operator of Massive, Persistent Online Worlds That foster Powerful Social Gaming Communities, end quote.
Well, I suppose that’s a nice fantasy for them to indulge in, while they go about consolidating servers and rolling out their new Micro-Transaction scheme. Which consists of buying in-game points to buy other stuff with, such as unlocking classes, races, buying items, and so on.

Bottom line: If you haven’t ended up trying D&DO at some point already in the past 3 years, you’re not missing very much. The graphics are blurry, uninspired, and show their age already. Also, in more recent months Turbine has been very slow in releasing new content for their quickly aging MMO.
Then again, at the cost of a big fat goose-egg, D&DO isn’t the worst game on the market you could choose from… The thought of playing The Chronicles of Spellborn, for example, still makes me cringe.

Blood Bowl PC
Blood Bowl is a fantasy football video game loosely based on American football, and adapted from the board game of the same name, which was produced by Games Workshop, using the Living Rulebook 5.0’s ruleset.[5] The game could be considered a remake of a 1995 adaptation, though the production of the two titles are unrelated.

Aion – A First Look By Sanya Weathers (MMORPG)
The following snippet of a review is written by Sanya Weathers from MMORPG.COM, and boy, did she ever write up a big, fat, ass kissing review of Aion. You can view the example below. I’m adding it to contrast my earlier review of Aion. Somehow Sanya seems to be near having an orgasm while playing Aion, which somehow runs unbelieveably well on her computer, which ran noticeably shitty on my similar speced machine.
Personally I’m going to call BS, and say this ass-hat Sanya has done nothing but write up a fluff piece to make Aion look like super big funz. Good job. Too bad she’s full of shit and the game is a horridly designed/written piece of ‘run of the mill’ korean fuck-trash. Other than that, she almost had her review right.
Sanya on Aion: If you take away one thing from this first look at Aion, I hope it’s this: Do not do what I did, and switch between Free Realms and Aion in the same playing session. Your brain will explode. But I’ll get to that in a minute.
Aion is big in the Far East. Really big. A localized, Westernized version is coming to North America this year. The development team behind the game is so confident they’ve got a hit on their hands that they allowed people to post screenshots from the beta event two weeks ago, and the NDA officially lifted on June 16th.

p.s. fuck mmorpg and their pussy writers that spread a bunch of fluff shit. Aion = Korean Shit-Mess, Not Thrillfest.
